The Raj Palace has been reclassified after extensive upgradation and rennovation as a "Grand Heritage Hotel"
The Raj Palace has got the rare distinction of becoming the only heritage grand hotel in Jaipur which is the highest possible categorisation possible for a luxury palace hotel in India by the goverment of India the classification commitee chairman had to comment that "the Raj Palace has set up new standards for luxury in India for other palace properties " the 17th century palace has been restored by blending of modern luxury and now it stands as an example in itself.
